Magical Rain

*Context*

After doing a small amount of reading on magic at the library, Junah opts out to go watch Kaelen work out. Unfortunately by the time she gets there he has just finished up at the gym (hence his sweaty shirt) and was heading back to his room for a change of clothes when it starts to rain.

Junah's first instinct is to cover her hair and Kaelen things it's odd that a woman who can summon a natural disaster doesn't repel water.

"I thought you were immune to the elements."

"Only when casting."

"Why not cast then if it's bothering you that your hair is getting wet?"

"Because I have a natural umbrella standing next to me."

"You are rather presumptuous Junah..."

"Well, the alternative is me dancing in the rain. That's fun too, but I might cause a title wave instead of becoming waterproof."

Kaelen holds his arm over Junah's head and snaps his fingers to spread his shield to cover her.

Water is Kaelen's natural element, so water-based spells are the only ones he can do naturally and with the most ease. He's not waterproof, but not wanting to get wet is the only thing he'd have to think to stay dry during a little rain. If you're close enough to you, he can also keep you dry by extending his limbs over what/who he wants to be dry.

On a side note, Kaelen is at his most receptive to fluffy stuff during the rain.

kk, this took waaaayyy to long to color (12+ hours and a Dollhouse marathon on the side), but I want to do more fully finished pieces and I'm pretty happy with the turnout.
